The Cricket Club Wissahickon Course is preparing to welcome golfers and fans to Pennsylvania, for the Truist Championship.

Jim Smith Jr, Director of Golf at Philadelphia Cricket Club, was pleased with the way the Wissahickon course stood up to the attack on par by the golfers at the Truist Championship last week.

They don’t make short par-3s like they used to. In fact, they pretty much don’t make them at all anymore, at least on the courses designed for current professional golfers. But that doesn’t mean the best in the game don’t appreciate the charm of a 100-to-125-yard hole,
