The No. 4 pick of the 2025 NBA Draft led the Hornets to their first Summer League title, holding off a Sacramento Kings comeback in a 83-78 championship game win on Sunday. Knueppel led his team with 21 points and made the biggest shot of the night with a 3-pointer in the final minute.

Burton, who dug in to earn eight appearances with the G League Memphis Hustle after going undrafted in 2024, powered his way to 20 points (8-14 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals, exiting his 23 minutes with an astounding plus-41 on the board.

He led Cleveland in points (20.3), rebounds (8.5) and steals (2.0). He tied for second on the team in assists (3.8) and tied for third in blocks (1.0). Oh, and he did all of that while shooting 58.2 percent overall and 40.9 percent from the perimeter.
