Rippeon's account, footage don't match. In a brief arrest report, Edgewater police said Rippeon was on patrol when he spotted the younger Paul Wert wearing a hoodie in front of the closed CVS.

Rippeon broke four program records at the Franklin and Marshall Invite from Friday to Sunday. She won the 1,650 yard freestyle, breaking the program record with a time of 17:33:34.

On Aug. 11, the descendants of the late Bradley T. and Martha Ellen (Fritz) Rippeon held their annual reunion at Woodsboro Park. There were 47 family members and friends present.
