The video game studio is reuniting with animation studio Trigger on a stand-alone follow-up to the 2022 Netflix entry set in the universe of Cyberpunk 2077.

Netflix teased a return to Night City last year and now we've got official confirmation it's a season 2 of Edgerunners with an all-new story.

“Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is in production,” an announcement on X (or Twitter) reveals. “It presents a new standalone 10-episode story from the world of Cyberpunk 2077 – a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge. When the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?”
