Ex-President Joe Biden, in an appearance on ABC’s “The View” Thursday, defiantly challenged Democratic insiders and journalists who have come forward with credible reports of his failing mental acuity that ultimately led to him being struck from the 2024 ticket.

Former President Biden on Thursday denied accusations that his mental acuity took a slide toward the end of his presidency and called reporting that he was urged to drop out of the race over those concerns unfounded.

The Democratic warhorse rejected criticism that his age and acuity was a factor in the final months of his single term in the White House

The friendly interview touched on Joe Biden’s debate performance, Kamala Harris’ loss to Donald Trump and whether the former president’s wife, Jill Biden, created a ‘cocoon’ around him.

Biden made the consequential decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race and endorsed Harris as his successor.

The former president stopped by "The View" for his first TV interview since leaving office on Thursday and talked about Trump.
