Cattleyas need abundant though not intense light in order to grow and flower well. About 2,000-3,000-foot candles are satisfactory, and as with many orchids, the early morning sun is very important.
I’ve noticed that not much is asked or said about the Cattleya orchid. I have a few growing and would appreciate any recommendations you can offer on their growth and to get them to bloom more often.
