The search continues for an Auburn University student missing in Japan. Officials and family members are searching after he disappeared during a family trip.

James “Weston” Higginbotham, a junior studying biosystems engineering at the Alabama college, was last seen in Kyoto.

Police said investigators have interviewed the family, followed Higginbotham’s movements after he left the hotel, examined items he left behind and reviewed surveillance footage.
