CHATSWORTH, N.J. (AP) — A fast-moving wildfire engulfing part of New Jersey’s Pine Barrens has not resulted in any injuries, officials said, though it’s expected to grow before forecast rain later this week.

The wildfire that has swept across Ocean County over the last two days continued to grow Wednesday night but was 50% contained, according to a statement from the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.

One of the largest wildfires ever in Ocean County is continuing to burn over 13,250 acres as fire crews have contained 50 percent of the raging blaze.
