President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Sunday that a U.S. security guarantees document for Ukraine is “100% ready” after two days of talks involving representatives from Ukraine, the U.S. and Russia.
It is a turnaround from the Ukrainian president’s weakened position in November last year, when a raid by the country’s top anti-corruption agency ended the reign of Zelenskyy’s powerful chief of staff and brother-in-arms Andriy Yermak. Yermak denied any wrongdoing and said he would co-operate with the investigation.
