SpaceX has warned that residents in the Bahamas may hear one or more sonic booms during the first-stage landing, similar to how Central Florida counties are subjected to the rattling sound when SpaceX opts to land its boosters back at Canaveral’s Landing Zone 1.

SpaceX found a new parking spot off of the Bahamas for its droneships that catch boosters from launches from the Space Coast.

A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 21 of the company’s Starlink internet satellites is set to lift off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 at 1:53 p.m. during a window that runs through 3:43 p.m. Backup options are available during a launch window from 11:33 a.m. – 4:33 p.m. Wednesday.
