Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas champion Tayce Szura-Radix is reportedly lined up for the main series.

Drag artist Tayce and her professional dance partner, Kai Widdrington, won a perfect score of 4 "10s" and took home the star-shaped, Strictly Christmas trophy. They beat out for the honor Josh Widdicombe and Karen Hauer,

Tayce Szura-Radix has made history, becoming the first drag queen to win the UK version of Strictly Come Dancing . Szura-Radix, best known for appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2021, triumphed in the Christmas special of the dance show, winning the contest with professional partner Kai Widdrington.

Tayce said she was proud to be the first drag artist to take part on the series and was taking a stand against those who might criticise the move. Tayce said: "It's such an honour and a privilege to be pushing the boundaries as the first drag queen on the show because it's been on for so many years.

Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special is back for another year on BBC, just weeks after viewers waved goodbye to series 22 which saw comedian Chris McCausland and professional partner Dianne Buswell lift the Glitterball trophy.

Tayce Szura-Radix is a 30-year-old professional drag queen and model from Wales. She first shot to prominence in 2021 as a contestant on the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK – which in itself proved to be a notable season as filming was forced into postponement due to the Covid pandemic.
