Vitara, designed on a new HEARTECT-e platform. The vehicle features two battery options, a dual-tone interior, and advanced safety features. It will be available in Spring 2025, priced between ₹17 lakh to ₹26 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki has officially introduced its maiden electric vehicle for the Indian market, the e-Vitara, a compact SUV designed to cater to the most competitive segment at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is the first electric SUV of the brand in the Indian market and competes against the likes of Hyundai Creta Electric.

India will be the production hub for EVs for Suzuki’s global markets and nearly 50% of its production will be exported to Japan and Europe.

On the Day 1 of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Maruti Suzuki showcased its first EV – eVitara, built on the Heartect-e platform. However, the company has not revealed the prices and will share it “very soon”.
