Stalker 2 originally launched last November just in time for long-standing post-apocalyptic survival sickos to feast on its eerie, emergent sandbox, and for most other people to bounce off its buggy gameplay in favor of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle or their massive backlogs.

No specific release date has been announced for the PlayStation 5 version of the popular hardcore shooter. The PS5 version of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl will support PS5 DualSense functionality, as well as PS5 Pro enhancements, although these features weren’t detailed.

Stalker 2 was initially released on PC and Xbox platforms, and now GSC Game World has officially confirmed a PlayStation variant to be in development.
