Two-time World Series champion, star of Miracle Mets team, dies at 87
Former Major League Baseball pitcher Ron Taylor has died, the New York Mets announced on Monday. He was 87 years old. Taylor, who was the longtime team doctor for the Toronto Blue Jays after his playing days, won World Series titles with the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals during his career.
