During a special council meeting on Friday night, it was revealed that the Riviera Beach Police Chief has resigned as interim city manager.

Several WPTV sources say Riviera Beach Police Chief Michael Coleman spent most of Thursday at the city manager's office being briefed on the job, as he will manage the city for at least the next two weeks.
