Police have charged a woman with second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing an on-duty postal worker in Harlem over their place in line at a deli, according to officials. Police said 24-year-old Jaia Cruz stabbed Ray Hodges to death on Thursday, after an argument between the two turned violent.

Police said a dispute erupted between Hodges and a female customer over who was first in line to order. The altercation turned deadly when the woman, identified as 24-year-old Jaia Cruz, allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Hodges in the stomach.
