Coinbase (COIN) has partnered with AI search engine startup Perplexity AI to give traders easier access to real-time, trustworthy crypto market data, the companies said Wednesday.
Dan Ives of Wedbush Securities said it’s clear Apple is incapable of producing its own AI in-house, despite a company culture that strives to build superior products internally. In recent days, some of Apple’s top AI talent has also been poached by increasingly aggressive AI talent recruiter Meta, Bloomberg reported.
Perplexity, the startup behind the AI “answer” engine, has just launched its own web browser. The browser, called Comet, incorporates Perplexity’s AI search tools and assistant in a way that CEO Aravind Srinivas says “transforms entire browsing sessions into single, seamless interactions.”
Perplexity AI is slowly growing its ad business. Its main ad product is 'sponsored follow-up questions,' and it recently introduced a perks program.
Coinbase has teamed up with Perplexity AI to provide real-time data on the crypto market. The first step is to add COIN50 for price analysis.
