Ohio's minimum wage has increased to $10.70 per hour
Ohio's minimum wage has increased by 2.3%, going from $10.45 per hour to $10.70 per hour as of Jan. 1. The minimum wage for tipped employees also has increased from $5.25 per hour to $5.35 per hour, but businesses might face larger wage hikes if voters approve an amendment potentially coming to the ballot in 2025.

Ohio’s minimum wage will increase by a few cents on Wednesday when the calendar flips to 2025. Minimum wage for non-tipped employees will increase by 25 cents from $10.45 to $10.70. The minimum wage for tipped employees will go up 10 cents from $5.25 to $5.35.
