The Grand Canyon Lodge, which burned in the Dragon Bravo Fire over the weekend of July 12-13, was on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, the more remote and less visited part of the national park.

The White Sage Fire and the Dragon Bravo Fire have prompted closures and evacuations of the Grand Canyon's North Rim.

A wildfire has forced the Grand Canyon National Park’s North Rim to close for the rest of the 2025 season and destroyed the lodge located in the park, a historic landmark, the National Park Service said.
