The new name for Utah’s NHL team, which completed its inaugural season after emerging from the ashes of the Arizona Coyotes, was picked by fans through multiple rounds of voting.

In addition to the Mammoth nickname, Utah also rolled out its new logos and jerseys. The Mammoth logo features the side profile of the mammoth with the Wasatch mountains and outline of Utah making up the top of the head. That logo will be used on the team's home jerseys, which features a primarily black look.

The NHL team in Salt Lake City will be called the Utah Mammoth going forward, ending a protracted, yearlong naming process that began with the Arizona Coyotes becoming the Utah Hockey Club last year.
