New Yorkers on Saturday woke up to the first major snowfall they’ve seen in nearly four years, with approximately 4.3 inches falling in Central Park.
Heavier snowfall has been reported in Upstate New York, with 9.2 inches in Poughkeepsie and 10 in Pine Plains. For numerous counties, Governor Kathy Hochul has declared a disaster emergency due to "imminent danger to public transportation, utility services, public health, and public safety systems."
Snow totals are in and slightly lower than expected in some spots. Nevertheless, the tri-state woke up Saturday blanketed in several inches.
Kickoff temperature at Yankee Stadium is expected to be somewhere in the 28 to 33 degrees range, which would be significantly chillier than Clemson’s previous coldest game in 2025. It was 41 degrees in Columbia, South Carolina when Clemson played the rival USC Gamecocks on Nov. 29.
