After months of teases, Cadillac officially announced the Lyriq-V as a 615-horsepower, high-performance electric SUV that will go on record as the “quickest” vehicle ever produced by the luxury automaker.

Cadillac’s V-Series model lineup has officially made the jump to the EV era. The brand’s latest entry, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V, is the first all-electric model to carry the performance moniker. On Thursday, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V debuted with 615 hp, a dedicated V-Mode, a V-specific sound, upgraded brakes, and a revised design. It'll cost $79,990 including a $1,395 destination charge, and it will go into production at the GM's Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee in the first quarter of 2025.

The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V, revealed Thursday, marks the most powerful, quickest, and most expensive version of the Lyriq EV to date. When the Lyriq-V goes into production this spring at GM's Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee it will cost $79,990 including a destination charge of $1,395.
