Although it would be great to get all of the Defenders in Born Again, Jessica Jones was by far the most important one to join Matt Murdock's army.

Born Again has had a rocky production history, but the latest update finally provides a direction. At the 2025 Disney upfront presentation, Krysten Ritter was officially revealed to be reprising her legendary role as Jessica Jones for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

Disney has already begun bringing the characters back, with “Daredevil: Born Again” starring Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio debuting on Disney+ in March 2025. Jon Bernthal also returned in that show as Frank Castle, a.k.a The Punisher, with Season 2 of “Born Again” already in the works.
