The Memphis Grizzlies selected West Virginia guard Javon Small with the No. 48 pick in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft on June 26.

Javon Small is now a member of the Memphis Grizzlies. The former West Virginia guard was selected with the 48th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft and fit what the Grizzlies were looking for on many different levels.

Former AZ Compass Prep basketball players Jeremiah Fears and Javon Small were taken in the 2025 NBA Draft held June 25-26. Fears, a 6-foot-4 guard who played one year at Oklahoma, was taken seventh overall by the New Orleans Pelicans.
