Strong to severe storms are expected over North Texas in the early morning hours Tuesday, sparking a First Alert Weather Day.

For the most part, the day will be quiet, but as the day progresses, our weather will get worse. After lunch we are forecasting to see rain and thunderstorms developing, and then it will quickly switch over to heavy snow as cold air moves in. And our winds will be gusting over 60 miles per hour.

The sky will gradually clear and we anticipate a mild day with highs in the upper 60s, with a good supply of sun and clouds. Temperatures will trend even warmer on Tuesday, with lows in the 40s and highs in the low-to-mid-70s.
