Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley was seen spending time with US president Donald Trump a day before the team’s visit to the White House to celebrate their recent Super Bowl victory.

Barkley flew with Trump on Air Force One and was seen entering the White House a day before the Eagles will celebrate their Super Bowl victory.

“The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow,” a statement from the president read. “They disagree with their president because he insists that they proudly stand for the national anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country.

It was the first face-to-face conversation between Trump and the Ukrainian leader since the two, along with JD Vance, argued during a heated Oval Office meeting in late February.

The meeting in Rome was the first time the two leaders met face-to-face since their tense Oval Office exchange in February.
