Pitt and Idris star in "F1 The Movie," a thrilling ride with fast cars and classic rock, directed by Joseph Kosinski.

The "F1" stars surprised some massive fans and also answered a few of Savannah Guthrie's burning questions about their new action-packed film.

As one would anticipate, F1 is an impressive technical achievement. It repeatedly offers the visceral experience of being strapped to the hood/side/back of one of the title sport’s speedy cars, with inventive cinematography and brilliant sound design working in tandem to create the powerful effect.
