The Tennessee Titans came away with a 23-20 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Friday night. Wins and losses in the preseason don’t mean anything, but you still don’t want to end it 0-3, especially coming off the year the Titans just had.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward responded to Van Jefferson's drop of his near-perfect throw in Friday's preseason battle against the Atlanta Falcons.

Cam Ward played three series, throwing for 42 yards as the Titans gained 55 yards in 11 plays. He completed 2 of 7 passes, though Van Jefferson dropped what would have been a big gain. Ward’s first pass was a 35-yard completion to Elic Ayomanor, which was the highlight of his night.

Cam Ward is making the best use of the training camp. He’s getting to know the officials on a professional and personal level. Footage from the Titans camp revealed a conversation between Ward and one of the referees.

Brandon Allen quickly responded with a 25-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end Gunnar Helm, flashing timing and chemistry in the offense.

Four Titans pass catchers have emerged as the targets Cam Ward is feeding the most, and one is a rookie the young passer's trust in keeps growing.
