“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition does not include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass DLC. That DLC is available as a separate purchase,” a Nintendo of America spokesperson clarified to IGN.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches alongside the console on June 5. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass subscribers will gain access to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack at no additional cost if they already own Breath of the Wild.
Nintendo's upgraded Breath of the Wild for Switch 2 requires a separate purchase for its previously released DLC content.
