This tranche of funding went to startups across 14 states, but there were certain winners that will see the bulk of the expected 18,000 jobs to be created as a result of this funding.

American Battery Technology Co. and lithium-producer Albemarle Corp. are among 25 companies getting more than $3 billion in funding from the Biden administration to boost domestic production of advanced batteries and components.

The Energy Department says the boost to battery makers and suppliers willl support 12,000 production and construction jobs.
